Town officials' claims of "openness" and "transparency" fall flat when
the community is "greeted" at the door by a sign declaring:
NO
WEAPONS, NO RECORDING DEVICES, NO CAMERAS.
[Are
these all the same thing?]
Especially troubling: The sign went
up right after the Town Board was informed in a public forum by a State
Official that the public IS allowed to audiotape, videotape, and
photograph public meetings.
Many, many questions.
Few if any straight answers.
And lots of simple math that does not add up.
But as the saying goes, a picture is worth 1,000 words.
